I was inspired by the Wizard of Oz movie when I designed this piece.  The singular ruby represents Dorothy's ruby slippers, and each column stuffed with shiny tumbled and polished peridot, represents the tall buildings of Emerald City and the Land of Oz. 
Peridot obtained from the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation in Southeastern Arizona

Peridot: each piece averages 3mm to 5mm
